This is an audio recording of a presentation given by Mr. Harold Bastable, a Canadian World War II veteran who spoke at the Vincent Massey Remembrance Day commemoration. Mr. Bastable was a crew member on a Halifax bomber and was shot down over occupied France. After being captured by the Gestapo, Mr. Bastable was interned in Buchenwald Concentration Camp for 101 days. |
