October 15, 2006 02:12 PM PDT
Vincent Massey Collegiate was host to a special conference on June 8, 2006, entitled “Bridges to Peace: Rebuilding Lives of Children of Conflict”. This conference was designed to increase our awareness of the realities of conflict and its aftermath—especially the impact on children—and to focus on hope—what CAN be done to rebuild lives? The following podcast is the keynote speech given by Kim Phuc, a Vietnamese-Canadian war survivor and Official Goodwill Ambassador for Peace for UNESCO.
